Shortlisting & Selection Ratio
A total of 41,424 vacancies are to be filled under this enrollment cycle. Following the written examination, scores were normalized and evaluated. According to board policies and reservation rules, approximately 2.6 times the number of candidates relative to the vacancies have been shortlisted for the DV/PST phase. The tests will be conducted at the Reserve Police Lines of all respective districts across Uttar Pradesh. This next stage is crucial because physical eligibility is a mandatory non-compensable qualification for Home Guard enrollment.
To qualify in the physical standards test (PST), male candidates must meet the height requirement of 168 cm (relaxable to 160 cm for hill area and ST candidates) and chest measurements of 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded. Female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm (relaxable to 147 cm for hill area and ST candidates) and a minimum weight of 45 kg. Candidates are advised to prepare all documents in advance to avoid rejection during document verification.
