Supreme Court to Host National Conference on Judicial Digital Transformation April 2026
Why it matters
On April 11 and 12, 2026, the eCommittee of the Supreme Court of India, in partnership with the Department of Justice, will convene a national conference titled 'Judicial Process Re-Engineering & Digital Transformation' at the Additional Buildings Complex in New Delhi.
The event evaluates the progress of the eCourts Mission Mode Project, a long-term national policy launched in 2005 to integrate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) across the Indian judiciary. The conference focuses on three pillars: reviewing past initiatives, re-engineering current judicial procedures, and establishing a framework for future digital adoption.
