SBI PO 2026 Notification Released

State Bank of India (SBI) has released the recruitment notification for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) for the year 2026. Applications are invited online from eligible Indian citizens who aspire to join the country's largest public sector lender as a Probationary Officer. The online registration process began on June 18, 2026, and will remain open until July 8, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications to apply for the post:

• Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before the specified date.
• Age Limit (as of April 1, 2026): Not below 21 years and not above 30 years. Standard age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories in accordance with Government of India guidelines.

Application Fee & Application Process

Candidates are required to pay the application fee online through the integrated payment gateway during the online application window:

• General / EWS / OBC Candidates: ₹750
• SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: Nil (Exempted)

Eligible candidates must register online on the official SBI careers portal at https://sbi.co.in/web/careers or https://bank.sbi/careers, fill out the application form, upload scanned photographs and signatures, and complete the fee payment before the deadline of July 8, 2026.
