Notice Overview
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently hosting the online application correction window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026. Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications and paid the fees during the registration period (May 11 to June 10, 2026) can make necessary modifications. The correction window is active and will close tomorrow, June 18, 2026. No corrections will be accepted after this date under any circumstances.

Fields Allowed for Modification
Candidates can log into the portal and modify the following details in their application forms:
- Candidate's Name, Father's Name, and Mother's Name.
- Date of Birth and Gender.
- Category (General/OBC/SC/ST) and Differently Abled status.
- Paper Choice (Paper I, Paper II, or Both).
- Subject chosen for Paper II (Mathematics & Science OR Social Science).
- Language I and/or Language II options.
- Address, Contact Details, and Choice of Examination Centre cities.
How to Make Corrections
- Go to the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the link titled "Correction Window for CTET Sept-2026" on the homepage.
- Log in using your Application Number and Password.
- Verify details and click on "Correction in Application Form Details".
- Modify the incorrect entries and save the changes.
- An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for authentication. Enter it and click submit.
- Download and print the updated Confirmation Page for future reference.
Exam Day Pattern
The CTET consists of two papers, each containing 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 150 marks with a duration of 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking:
- Paper I: For candidates intending to teach Classes I to V.
- Paper II: For candidates intending to teach Classes VI to VIII.
